UPTC conducts Women’s Health Awareness Forum at Brgy. San Isidro

UP Tacloban’s Gender and Development Program (GDP) organized the Himangraw ha Kahimsog: Women’s Health Awareness Forum at Greendale Multi-Purpose Hall in Barangay 105 San Isidro (formerly Suhi) on 25 March 2026.
Sixty female barangay residents attended the forum with obstetrician-gynecologist and UPTC alumna Dr. Zaida Villanobos-Centinaje. Dr. Centinaje is also recognized as the only aesthetic and functional gynecologist in Eastern Visayas. Participants discussed concerns related to sexual and reproductive health, infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), cancer, and menopause.
Part of UP Tacloban’s 2026 Women’s Month celebration, the activity is in line with the Magna Carta of Women and the advocacy for women’s rights, gender equality, and social inclusion.
