The Master of Science in Environmental Science (MSES) is an integrative program which ties together different disciplines from the natural sciences and social sciences to come up with a holistic view of the nature-society relationships in the real world.
Graduates of the program are highly sought after by government and private corporations, local and abroad.
This is the only Master of Science in Environmental Science (MSES) program in the region. Region 8 is frequently visited by natural calamities, such as strong typhoons, storm surges, harmful algal blooms, etc. as well as human activities, such as logging, mining, and pollution. Thus, there is an imperative to produce and develop knowledgeable, trained, and skilled professionals in the field of environmental science who will study, lead, and manage the environment and natural resources of the region.
