UP Tacloban's Division of Humanities kicks off National Literature Month 2025

UP Tacloban’s Division of Humanities kicks off National Literature Month 2025 with Zine-Making with Magpies Press: A Workshop on Independent Literary Production from 8:30 AM to 12:00 NN on 2 April 2025 at the Humanities Laboratory. Led by Magpies Press members Jecko Sanjorjo and Fiona Ricci Cardino, the workshop will explore the history of DIY publishing in the Philippines and provide hands-on zine-making guidance.

Students of BA Literature and BA Communication Arts (Literature and Creative Writing) are invited to the event. See registration link below.

The workshop is part of the Division of Humanities’ Panuratan series on Eastern Visayas literary production, history, and translation.
