Student volunteers from UP Tacloban’s BS Accountancy program conducted a financial literacy workshop for officials of Brgy. Sta. Elena on 25 September 2024. UP Tacloban’s future campus is located in this barangay.

The workshop covered income and debt management, saving tips, investment opportunities, and asset protection. It is part of UP Tacloban’s UP<3ME (UP Loves Municipality Empowerment) public service program. The financial literacy workshops will continue in October with another session for working adults of Brgy. Sta. Elena.
