Pahinungod Tacloban celebrates the holiday season with Pamasko han Pahinungod

As part of UP Tacloban’s 2024 Christmas celebration with the theme “Pasko Pasada UP Tacloban,” Ugnayan ng Pahinungód Tacloban spearheaded the Pamasko han Pahinungód Christmas outreach activity on 18 December 2024 for the children of Brgy. San Juan and Brgy. San Pedro in Sta. Rita, Samar.
Faculty members from the Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and the Division of Social Sciences, along with alumni volunteers, led storytelling sessions. UPTC nurse Dianne Ruth Daanton also conducted a health and wellness talk to reinforce proper hygiene practices and balanced nutrition among the kids.
A total of 60 children participated in the Christmas outreach, which also included games, a talent showcase, and the distribution of hygiene kits and Christmas gift packs.
