On 26 February 2025, UP Tacloban’s Division of Humanities, in collaboration with UP Ideopraxist and the UP Tacloban Ugnayan ng Pahinungod, held the Karit Anyag Art Workshop 2025 at Basey National High School.
In celebration of Ugnayan ng Pahinungód’s 31st founding anniversary, Pahinungód Tacloban organized a public service caravan on 15 February 2025 at Brgy. 107, Sta. Elena, Tacloban City.
As part of UP Tacloban’s 2024 Christmas celebration with the theme “Pasko Pasada UP Tacloban,” Ugnayan ng Pahinungód Tacloban spearheaded the Pamasko han Pahinungód Christmas outreach activity on 18 December 2024 for the children of Brgy. San Juan and Brgy. San Pedro in Sta. Rita, Samar.
UP Tacloban congratulates BA Psychology faculty member and Division of Social Sciences chairperson Asst. Prof. Ruth Edisel Rylle Sadian-Cercado for being one of the awardees of the first Gawad Pahinungod. The awarding ceremony was held on 9 December 2024 at David Consunji Theater, UP Diliman.
UP Tacloban’s Ugnayan ng Pahinungód kicked off its UP<3ME (UP Loves Municipality Empowerment) Literacy Program in the municipalities of Sta. Rita and Basey, Samar with simultaneous reading sessions for 54 children aged 6-10 in Brgy. San Juan and Brgy. San Pedro in Sta. Rita, Samar on 9 November 2024.
