The ongoing caravan has reached 47 schools in Region 8 and around 900 Grade 11 students. The initiative is part of the Ugnayan ng Pahinungód’s Affirmative Action Program (AAP) to encourage senior high school students in underserved communities to study in UP. The program, with the slogan Dayon Kamo ha UP (meaning “Come in to UP”) includes summer tutorials at the UP Tacloban campus in June for qualified UPCAT applicants from the region.
