Students can take as electives 100-level Psychology courses that are not core or major courses, or courses numbered 100 and above in any discipline (Literature, Media Arts, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Biology, Management). The 18 units of electives may be used to earn a minor from among the minor programs offered in UP Tacloban.

BA Psychology students must also complete 12 General Education courses, 2 language electives (e.g. Waray 1 and 2), the legislated PI 100 (The Life and Works of Jose Rizal) course, as well as four Physical Education courses and two NSTP courses
