UP Tacloban’s ARTS classes organized “It Takes A Village: A National Children’s Month Exhibit”

05 December 2025

In celebration of National Children’s Month, UP Tacloban’s ARTS 1 (Critical Perspectives in the Arts) classes organized “It Takes A Village: A National Children’s Month Exhibit” on 20-21 November 2025 at the Humanities Laboratory proscenium of UP Tacloban College.

The two-day event featured interactive student-made pieces about issues concerning children’s rights and well-being. The exhibit, designed under the guidance of ARTS 1 instructors Mr. Jericho Sandino Aliposa and Ms. Marianne Kaye Distrajo, sought to illuminate children’s experiences and encourage reflection on how collective care shapes a safer and more nurturing world.

Students from Leyte National High School (LNHS) and St. Therese Educational Foundation, Inc. (STEFTI) visited the exhibit, along with UPTC students, faculty and staff.
