The UP Tacloban College Men’s E-sports Team won the silver medal in the first-ever Regional State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA) E-Sport Competition, which was held on 11-12 March 2025 at UP Tacloban College. The UPTC team finished as runner-up after a hard-fought 4-1 defeat to Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) in the best-of-seven finals.
The two-day tournament brought together e-sports teams from Biliran Province State University (BIPSU), Leyte Normal University (LNU), Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT), Southern Leyte State University (SLSU), and UPTC, marking a milestone for e-sports in the region’s collegiate athletic scene.
