Faculty, staff, and students of UP Tacloban College participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held on 11 September 2025. The activity was led by the UPTC Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Committee.

The drill began with an earthquake alarm prompting everyone to “duck, cover, and hold.” After the simulated tremor, participants evacuated to designated assembly areas, where a headcount was conducted. Members of the incident command team inspected the vacated buildings for possible injured individuals. The drill concluded with a recap of earthquake safety protocols.
