UP Tacloban College (UPTC) through its Office of Research Coordination and Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics hosted the Level 2 Inter-Agency Research and Development/Extension (RDE) Review organized by the Visayas Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Resources Program (ViCARP) and Agriculture Fisheries Regional Research, Development and Extension Network (AFRREDN) on 15-16 August 2024 at the UPTC Leyte Samar Heritage Center.
Over 50 participants from the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 8, Department of Agrarian Reform, Agricultural Training Institute, National Fisheries Research and Development Institute, Biliran Province State University, Eastern Visayas State University, Southern Leyte State University, and UP Tacloban College attended the review. A total of 13 ongoing and completed projects were presented—9 under the Research (Basic, Applied, and Socio-Economic) category, and 4 under the Development category.
