UP Tacloban’s quality assurance (QA) officers, faculty members, student support staff, administrative unit heads, and students attended an Orientation to Quality Assurance in Higher Education seminar with Dr. Alyssa M. Peleo-Alampay, UP Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs (Quality Assurance), on 20 March 2024 at the Leyte Samar Heritage Center.

Dr. Peleo-Alampay discussed QA principles and QA systems and frameworks, including the ASEAN University Network QA system, the ASEAN Qualifications Reference Framework, and the Philippine Qualifications Framework. She also gave an overview of the UP QA system, which is composed of an internal academic assessment and development system (iAADS) and an external QA process.
