Red Cross-Leyte’s Safety and Disaster Management Services Instructor Teddy Owen Macorol presented the history and founding principles of the Red Cross movement and the establishment of a Red Cross Youth Council to help promote volunteerism and assist in humanitarian initiatives. The presentation was followed by an introductory training session on basic life support, focusing on first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which are crucial skills to respond effectively in times of emergency.
