The academic and administrative head of UP Tacloban is the Chancellor.
The Chancellor is assisted by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the Vice Chancellor for Administration, the University Registrar, the deans of the colleges, the chairpersons of the academic departments, and the heads of the various academic, research, public service, and administrative units.
