Dr. Rolly G. Fuentes, chairperson of UP Tacloban’s Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, has been elected as the new chairperson of the Department of Science and Technology – National Research Council of the Philippines (DOST-NCRP) Visayas Regional Cluster.
UP Tacloban’s Class of 2025, composed of 340 graduates from eight bachelor’s programs and 14 from two master’s programs, received their diplomas at the college’s 47th Commencement Exercises held on 2 July 2025.
UP Tacloban’s graduating class of 2025 attended the Baccalaureate Mass at 8:00 AM on 1 July 2025, the day before their graduation. The Mass was officiated by Rev. Fr. Mark Ivo Acebedo Velazquez.
