UP Tacloban held the public forums and sectoral consultations as part of the search for the first full-term deans of the College of Science (COS), College of Social Sciences and Management (CSSM), and School of Humanities (SOH) on 08–09 October 2026.

The University of the Philippines Tacloban College, in partnership with the Philippine Political Science Association (PPSA) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Philippines (KAS), organized the PPSA Presidents’ Lecture Series on Philippine Democracy on 30 September 2026 at the UP Tacloban Library Hall. More than 200 political science students, teachers, researchers, and community workers from across Leyte and Samar attended the lecture, which formed part of the PPSA’s 65th Founding Anniversary celebration.
