Master of Management

Curriculum

Master of Management (MM) students are required to finish these courses and number of units in three years (academic units), or 8-9 semesters maximum including the comprehensive examination. It varies depending whether students are studying on a full-time or part-time basis.

Core Courses (18 units)

All students, regardless of their chosen areas of specialization, are required to take these courses which provide them with essential knowledge to critically analyze business and public organizational issues, applying the holistic systems thinking approach to develop strategies that will improve organizational operations effectively and efficiently. A total of eighteen (18) credits will be earned by the student from the following core/major courses.

Functions and responsibilities of top management in an organization, factors that affects organizational performance, and the decisions that determine or influence the character, operations, survival and competitiveness of different types of organizations. PR MGT 201

Students must earn fifteen (15) credits from the following selection of specialization courses which will be taken with regards to the chosen area of specialization: Business Management or Public Management.

The major areas of Production and Operations Management are extensively treated in the application and conceptual envelopes in order to desire at the most efficient use of resources; the most effective optimization of output and the most efficacious implementation of decisions.
