ANNOUNCEMENT

Asynchronous Classes due to risks posed by Tropical Storm Kristine

22 October 2024

To all UPTC Faculty, Staff, and Students:

On the advice of the UPTC Disaster Risk Reduction Committee, we are calling upon faculty members with face-to-face classes today, 22 October 2024, to consider shifting to asynchronous learning mode due to risks posed by Tropical Storm Kristine.

DOST-PAGASA has placed Eastern Visayas under Typhoon Signal No. 1 and an orange rainfall warning has been issued. Meanwhile, some tree branches have fallen in the mini-forest area due to gusts of wind.

All UPTC constituents are advised to take extra precautions against risks posed by the severe weather conditions.

For your information and guidance.
