Blockchain Tech Training-Workshop: Coding Smart Contracts in CashScript

UP Tacloban College, in partnership with Paytaca, Inc., held the “Blockchain Tech Training-Workshop: Coding Smart Contracts in CashScript” on 1 October 2025 at the CS Laboratories, BL Grounds.
Forty BS Computer Science students were trained in CashScript and introduced to blockchain and cryptocurrency innovations. The workshop sharpened students’ systems engineering and cybersecurity skills, affirming UP Tacloban’s drive to advance emerging technologies through industry-academe collaboration.
