The BAMA program seeks to produce graduates who are able to:

1. Explicate the history, functions, principles, and elements of media arts using the relevant theories and frameworks;
2. Engage in critical and multidisciplinary analyses of media products and operations;
3. Produce media products using the appropriate methods and technologies; and 
4. Undertake research on media arts in a technically competent and ethically informed manner.
