The BALit program aims to produce graduates who are able to:

1. Explicate the history, functions, principles, and elements of literature using the relevant theories and frameworks;
2. Engage in a critical and multidisciplinary analysis of literary and cultural forms and practices;
3. Produce literary translations and creative work using the appropriate methods and technologies; and
4. Undertake literary research in a technically competent and ethically informed manner.
