The academic and administrative head of UP Tacloban is the Chancellor.
The Chancellor is assisted by the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the Vice Chancellor for Administration, the University Registrar, the chairpersons of the academic divisions, and the heads of the various academic, research, public service, and administrative units.
