The UP Tacloban Division of Humanities is holding the 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 on 𝟮𝟱-𝟮𝟲 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 with writers Professor Emeritus Merlie Alunan, Firie Jill Ramos, and Christine Lao as panelists.
UP Tacloban students from the Literature and Creative Writing strand of the BA Communication program and from the BA Literature program are eligible to apply. Other UP Tacloban students who have taken Creative Writing courses or who have an interest in writing may apply to be considered for any remaining slots.
Applicants must submit a portfolio composed of any of the following: a) 1 fiction (short story) or 3 flash fiction pieces; b) 1 nonfiction; c) 1 short drama; OR d) 3 poems. Works may be written in Waray, Cebuano, Filipino, or English.
The deadline for submissions is 18 June 2025. Accepted fellows will receive an acceptance email by 20 June 2025.
