UP Tacloban hosts Australia Awards info session

Australia Awards Philippines, in partnership with UP Tacloban College, conducted an information session on 21 March 2025 at the AS Conference Hall. Staff members and Leyte-based alumni of Australia Awards Scholarships discussed opportunities for postgraduate studies in Australia.

Around 50 individuals from the Center of Chemical Biology and Biotechnology (C2B2), Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Mines and Geosciences Bureau Regional Office 8, Department of Education, Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 8, Department of Trade and Industry Regional Office 8, Local Government Unit of Jiabong in Samar, Samar State University, Visayas State University-Isabel Campus, and UP Tacloban attended the information session.

Aside from scholarships and application procedures, session participants discussed the impact of international education on professional growth and community development.
