We are thrilled to announce that the University of the Philippines Tacloban College is collaborating with the Quantum Computing Society of the Philippines and the Department of Science and Technology-Advanced Science and Technology Institute to bring you Quantum Computing Hackathon 2024! This exciting event will be held on 18 October 2024 at the University of the Philippines Tacloban College.

 

The one-day event will kick off with a morning seminar on quantum technologies, where experts will share valuable insights into this rapidly evolving field. The seminar, which will be held at the AS conference room, is open to all students, but seats are limited, so it’s best to arrive early.

 

In the afternoon, there will be a hackathon, where pre-qualified participants will solve a series of quantum computing challenges. This provides a unique opportunity to apply quantum concepts in a competitive and enjoyable environment.
