The UP Tacloban Ugnayan ng Pahinungod, in partnership with the Psychology faculty of UP Tacloban College, will conduct a two-day training titled “Psychological First Aid by and for Young Peers” on 12-13 October 2024 at Brgy. Sta. Elena, Tacloban City. This initiative is part of the Community-Based Mental Health Program under the Division of Social Sciences, which aims to empower young people in providing emotional support within their communities.
This initiative also advances Ugnayan ng Pahinungod’s commitment to mental health and wellness as one of its priority programs under the UP Loves Municipality Empowerment (UP < 3 ME) program.
