On 12 February 2025 the Division of Humanities, in collaboration with the Leyte Samar Heritage Center (LSHC), hosted a symposium on translation featuring a book talk on “Húbad: Ester Tapia” by Professor Emeritus Merlie Alunan. The symposium, which was held at the LSHC main gallery, is the first in the Division of Humanities’ Panuratan Series.

in Tatak UPLast 10-12 January 2025 UP Tacloban’s Ugnayan ng Pahinungod held a training workshop on mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) for persons with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities, in partnership with Nationwide Organization of Visually Impaired Empowered Ladies (NOVEL), a group of women with visual impairment pushing for gender equality and disability inclusion.
