LOOK | UP Tacloban faculty and researchers attended the UP Intelligent Systems Center information caravan held on 26 May 2025 at the UPTC AS Conference Hall.

Over 100 runners participated in the UP Tacloban Run 2025 on 24 May 2025. Participants gathered at 5:00 AM for an energizing Zumba warm-up before setting off.

The University of the Philippines (UP) will commemorate its 117th foundation anniversary with Linggo ng Unibersidad, a weeklong celebration themed “Ani at Alay: Paglilingkod at Pasidungog sa Bayan.”

UP Tacloban kicked off its 52nd founding anniversary celebration with UP Peryahan, the UP Tacloban staff fair, on 23 May 2025.

The UP Board of Regents approved the establishment of UP Tacloban College at their 833rd meeting held on 23 May 1973. The college was formally inaugurated on 2 July 1973.

On 7 May 2025 UP Tacloban College received a taxidermied Philippine eagle from the Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF) whose story will inspire learning and action for wildlife and biodiversity conservation.
